Wokabulary versions

The term "cloud" comes from the Old English word "clod", which originally denoted a heap or hill of stones. Because rain clouds look like huge piles of rocks in the sky, the term "clod" was used as a metaphor and over time replaced the older term "weolcan". "Weolcan" on the other hand has the same origin as the German word "Wolken", which is still used in German for clouds.

What keeps us motivated is the feedback we get from you, our users.
Many of you contact us not only to report bugs or problems, but to tell us how they use Wokabulary to learn foreign languages. And we highly appreciate all the ideas for improvement you send us.
We are convinced that the best way to improve Wokabulary is to talk and listen to our users directly. That is why we want to make it even easier for you to tell us what features and improvements you would like to see in Wokabulary.

We hope to see a lot of engagement there, so we can base further development of Wokabulary directly on your needs.
Further improvements in this version:
- Importing of words: Now tags from the imported words will also be assigned when the imported word already exists in your vocabulary. By the way, this was a feature request from Reiner.

- Fixes a display issue in the Quiz on older versions of macOS.

v4.5 [Aug 21, 2017]
- Sorting now ignores articles and other grammatical prefixes (like "the" and "to" in English or "le", "la" and "les" in French)
- When adding a new word while tag-filtering is active, the currently selected tags will be prefilled for the new word
- Fixes an issue that sometimes changes made on multiple devices would not be merged correctly during iCloud sync.

v4.4 [May 26, 2017]
- You can now add new words directly from the search.
- Comments can now be multi line.
- Improves the stability and reliability of the purchase process and fixes some problems with restoring previous purchases.
- Sometimes unnecessary spaces were not removed from new words.
- When editing multiple words the level and don't-ask-again status could be set wrongly.

- Quiz can now read out foreign words of all major languages.
- Quiz and vocabulary view have been redesigned for better usability.
- CSV import has been improved to recognize more format and be more reliable.
- Improved word selection in Quiz for better learning results.
- Bug Fix: Changing languages would unnecessarily reorder list of languages.
- Bug Fix: Order of foreign language and your language would not be consistent in interface.
- Bug Fix: Switching to a language would not automatically sync.
- Bug Fix: Selected words for quiz would sometimes not be shuffled correctly.
