Wokabulary is Mac utility designed for people who are just starting to learn a foreign language. With its help, you can easily store information about the words you're studying, practice what you've learned so far, and sync the translations across your iPhone or iPad device.
To create a new project, you first need to select which type of language you wish to study and your native language. Afterwards, you can start adding words to the app's records, use the built-in search tool to find the terms you need, import CSV or TXT files containing word translations, etc.
Unfortunately, the application comes with several limitations which can be eliminated only by making an in-app purchase. After making the payment, you will be able to export word lists from your Mac and create more than one language project.
Another thing that might bother you would be the fact that the program doesn't help you translate the words you wish to learn. To be more exact, you would still need to use your web browser or a third-party translation tool to transcribe words before adding them to Wokabulary's records.
To conclude, it's worth giving this utility a try if none of these aspects don't mean much to you. It's easy-to-use, offers you many advantages, and works OK.
