This program is a simple vocabulary training tool that comes in handy whenever you wish to start learning a new language. You can also use this Mac application to study complex words and improve your vocabulary from the comfort of your home.
Wokabulary features an intuitive and nicely-structured interface, so even novice computer users can easily handle it on their Macs. You can add words along with their correspondent definitions or translations from the main window of the app. The program also lets you go to Get Words window and import terms lists which were shared by other Wokabulary users.
After you complete your word list you can start taking a quiz. The application lets you choose the amount of questions, the preferred test type (Typing, Flash Card or Popup), etc. Once you complete the test, Wokabulary will give you access to detailed statistics based on your quiz results.
The free version of the utility, which can be downloaded from the Mac App Store, gives you access to a limited amount of features. You can upgrade the app to its Pro version by making an in-app purchase and get access to features like the ability to generate graphic statistics based on your quiz results or to import word lists from CSV files. I don't see this aspect as a disadvantage mostly because the acquiring price is affordable and definitely worth it if you like how the app works.
