A timestamp is the current time and date of an event that is recorded by the computer. Timestamp Converter is a simple Menu Bar utility that comes in handy when you need to transform the aforementioned information into readable time and date details.
The application doesn't come with an actual interface. Instead, it places a new icon on your Menu Bar from where you can access the Help guide and get access to the conversion results.
All you need to do is copy a Unix or Epoch timestamp to your clipboard and the program will do the rest. The conversion results are displayed on the app's main menu from your status bar. There's also an option to immediately convert the current timestamp.
One thing that bothered me while trying out the application on my Mac was that it didn't offer me an option to copy the conversion results to the clipboard. Besides, you can convert timestamps to readable time and date information in your default browser, as many websites provide you with this option.
With that being said, it's up to you to decide if it's worth installing this free app on your computer or it is better to use your default browser to convert timestamps. Either way, you won't have to pay a buck to complete any of the aforementioned tasks.
Converts PDF files to other common document, presentation and picture formats.
