Temperature Converter is a simple reference application. It can help you convert temperatures in five different units: Fahrenheit, Celsius, Kelvin, Rankine, and Réaumur. All of those units are calculated at the same time. For example, if you want to calculate what 25 degrees Celsius is equal to in Fahrenheit, you should simply select Celsius from a drop-down menu and write 25. After clicking on "Calculate", the five different text fields listed below that will show the results. You will, then, learn that 25 degrees Celsius equals to 77 degrees Fahrenheit and to 298 degrees Kelvin.
Temperature Converter is a free application that works well. Personally, I wouldn't use it simply because it would be a waste of resources (although the application is very light) and much more complicated than typing "25 degrees Celsius in F" on Google. These days, people always have a web browser running, and taking the extra time in launching an application is not worth for me. Now, if you are the kind of a user who needs to see all the measuring units at once, then the app will be perfect for you.
My only problem with the app and something that could be easily fixed is that after typing the numbers, you should use the mouse again to click on "Calculate". It would be much easier to simply press the return key.
- It works
- It is free
- I would like it if I could just press "Enter" to calculate
