OmniFocus is a Mac utility that helps you keep track of your daily tasks and monitor the progress of your current projects. The application lets you choose between multiple ways to display your daily goals and help you easily decide how to plan or complete your assignments.
The Welcome screen lets you choose how the app handles your task-related data. You can either sync the stored information across your Cloud account or keep the data only on your Mac. The first choice might require several configurations but you won't lose much time.
You can organize your tasks for each project, set due dates for assignments, flag important entries, and so much more. The program also gives you access to a built-in search utility that helps you immediately find the information you need.
Another advantage is the fact that you can print or export your task lists in case you need to share them with other people.
There's a Pro version of this application that provides you with extra features (AppleScript support for quick workflow additions, custom sidebars, filtering options, etc.). However, it's twice as expensive comparing to the standard variant's price. On the homepage of the developer you will find detailed information regarding the advantages of acquiring the Pro version. In my opinion, it's worth buying the expensive variant of the OmniFocus app only if you're a power-user.
