The program's interface is very simple to handle as it brings easy to configure icon editing tools. Whether you opt to create a folder icon from scratch or edit one from the Favorites list, iconStiX offers you all the utilities you need to crop images, rotate them to any angle you want, add as many layers as you need, and much more.
You also have access to a preview window where you can check real-time icon modifications. This way, you can see if the adjustments you made to your folder icon match your needs or you need to undo the alterations.
After you finish editing your icon image, you can export it to a wide range of output formats or save it for later modifications as a ISTX file.
To me, iconStiX proved to be a reliable solution when it came to creating and editing folder icons. Even though it crashed occasionally, this program offered a simple and yet effective way to get the icons I needed.
