HandBrake is a video transcoder that takes your movies and transfers them to a format that's useful on your computers, media centers, and portable electronic devices. It converts most any video formats to a handful of modern ones.
What's new in this version:
- Removal of FDK AAC from our binary releases. --enable-fdk is required for "non-free" builds if compiling from source.
- Updated x265 to 1.9 which brings bug fixes and performance improvements.
- Few minor bug fixes since the 0.10.3 release. This includes improvements in large AVI file handling.

I am so excited to find this older version. Apple stole it off my old computer a couple of years ago and I couldn't find another software that will extract certain chapters from iMovie DVD.

Quite a usual file converter. It is pretty easy to use and the result is quite satisfactory. Plus, the application's icon is great.
