OneNote for Mac updated with better searching and more OneNote for Mac updated with better searching and more

I've got some good news for those who use Microsoft's OneNote on a Mac. The company has recently updated the application, adding several important functions, such as the ability to insert shapes, and improved search capabilities. Shape adding, a feature that is very important to teachers, students and a few other categories of users, was already available on Windows and iOS, but for some reason it hadn't been ported to Mac. That's no longer the case, as you can now insert graphs, arrows and other simple shapes without any effort. And, as far as the improved search capabilities go, Mac users now also have a great cross-referencing tool: they can now perform searches through all of their notebooks instead of just the one they were currently looking at.

From my perspective, these two seemed like the most important updates, but they aren't the only handy novelties that have been added. From now on, those who use Firefox or Safari will be able to install fully-featured OneNote extensions that will allow them to use the tool directly from their web browsers and easily garb clippings from the webpages they run across. Moreover, the Mac version of OneNote now integrates with the Doc.com sharing tool, so that you can quickly make your notes available to other people. Lastly, if you have a Microsoft account, you can easily forward any email you receive to OneNote. All you have to do is specify the OneNote location where your emails should be saved, then simply send the email to me@onenote.com, and it will get automatically added and saved.
