Typinator is an office tool that helps you boost up your productivity while writing text content on your Mac.

It might prove to be of good use if you're the type of user who repeatedly writes certain snippets of text content in emails or documents, such as dates, full names or addresses, email accounts, etc.

Before using Typinator on your Mac you first need to grant it permission to operate from the System Preferences tool (go to Security & Privacy -> Accessibility). Then, the program will launch and its icon will be displayed on your Menu Bar.

You have access to a comprehensive help manual, various abbreviation examples, and plenty of useful hints. So, you won't need much Mac experience in order to work with this utility. For example, you can define the "typenm" abbreviation with the expansion "Anne J. Smith". Afterwards, if you type the "typenm" term into programs like a web browser or TextEdit, the term will be replaced by "Anne J. Smith".

The program enables you to define as many abbreviations as you like and sort them into sets. You can also use the integrated search tool to immediately find the abbreviation profile you need.

To be honest, I can't find a single bad thing to say about this utility. It's very easy-to-use, works 100%, and brings you many useful features. Plus, it comes with a very reasonable price.
