SystemLoad is an application that helps you identify cooling and power supply problems on your Mac. This program features a user-friendly interface, comes with a comprehensive help manual, and lets you choose between two diagnosis techniques.
The utility helps you put the processor(s) under the maximum load, obtaining the highest possible temperatures and load on your power supply. By doing so, you can check if your hardware components are working properly (sensors, CPUs, etc.).
All you need to do is to select the diagnosis method and configure the app's settings according to your needs. SystemLoad won't provide you with a detailed report. You will need to use Mac's Activity Monitor application to check the load on each processor over time.
Two things bother me about this program: it uses many CPU resources (more than 20%) while operating and the fact that it doesn't provide you with an actual report.
In conclusion, I don't think it's worth installing this utility on your Mac. Even though it comes without a price and is very intuitive, I still believe that's best you try a different program to test the performance of your hardware components or request assistance from an IT service employee.
