Simplenote is a Mac utility that enables you to manage your ideas, notes, and to-do lists from one place.
You can use this tool to write notes for your ongoing projects, diary entries, to-do lists, and many others. Once you no longer need a stored item, send it to the program's Trash panel. A great advantage is the fact that you don't have to worry about saving the entered or modified text content as the utility will automatically do it for you.
Other useful features include the ability to attach tags to your entries, the access to an effective search tool, and the option to print notes or to-do lists directly from the program's interface.
Two things are still missing from this program: advanced font settings (it only lets you change the font size) and the ability to export your notes or ideas to your local directories.
Still, Simplenote comes without a price and works flawlessly. I'd say it's definitely worth a try if you're looking for an effective and easy-to-use note taking utility for your Mac.
