ScreenFloat is an affordable utility designed for Mac that not only enables users to take snapshots of their desktops but also keeps the screenshots on top of all running apps. The application sits on your Menu Bar, is very simple to handle, and comes with an integrated image browser.
You can work with this capable program whenever you need to take snapshots of an app's window, your desktop or webpage. The tool enables you to save the resulted photos to formats like JPG, PNG, and TIFF, print and share the screenshots directly from its interface, etc.
In addition, you have access to a built-in image browser where you can preview all taken snapshots, search saved screenshots, edit their tags, and much more.
I tested dozens of programs from the same category as this application and saw the amount of features a screen capture tool can offer. Unfortunately, ScreenFloat isn't one of my favorites; I say this because it lacks annotation tools (you need to use third-party apps to alter the screenshots) and supports only 3 output formats.
Nevertheless, it's worth buying this cheap capturing tool if the aforementioned flaws don't mean much to you.
