This application is exactly what its name implies: a utility that enables you to fill PDF forms on your Mac. The program comes with a straightforward interface, offers you various PDF editing options, and provides you with a simple and quick way to share the resulted documents.
You can use this utility to add text content, images, and checkmark symbols to PDF forms. You can also zoom in or out the document's pages, email the PDF to other people from the app's main screen, and print it with just a few clicks.
Except for that, nothing more can be said about this program. It does exactly what's being stated on the homepage of the developer and preserves the quality of the input documents.
The difference between working with PDF Form Filler and Preview (Mac default tool for viewing and editing images and PDFs) is that the first provides you with a quicker way to insert checkmarks in the imported PDFs and share them with other people. In Preview, you need to go to Edit -> Emoji & Symbols and search the checkmark within a long list.
In my opinion, it doesn't worth buying this program for your computer when you already have a default Mac application that helps you fill PDF forms.
In the latest version of pdf-FieldMerge, Excel and CSV files can be opened directly and used as a data source.
