MacSnapper is a great tool for making tutorials and manuals out of your screenshots. It gives you a lot of tools to easily modify your screenshots and add shapes and text to them.

If you have ever seen those screenshots that developers use to explain how to use their apps, then that is the type of images that you can make with this tool.

To get started, you have to take a screenshot, of course. There are three modes: add crop, add a window and add desktop. The first mode lets you select an area of your screen to take a screenshot of. You simply drag and drop your mouse and that area is selected. The second mode lets you add an active window and the third lets you take a screenshot of the whole screen.

After you have taken a screenshot, it will be added to the screen, and a bar will appear on top of it. From this bar, you can add shapes, numbers and text. The shapes are used to highlight something on the image. The numbers can be used to guide users through several steps. Each click adds a number, and you can drag them to move them around.

This tool is very easy to use, and very helpful for when you need to make a series of illustrative screenshots.
