FontXChange is an easy-to-use program that was created to help you convert fonts to various formats.

This utility might prove to be of good use whenever you're dealing with incompatibility issues between your word processors and the fonts you wish to use for writing your work.

You can import multiple fonts and convert them to formats like WOFF, SVG, EOT, and many others. The application also provides you with detailed information regarding the input files. It gives you access to style and version info, the folder location of the selected font, copyright details, etc.

Before launching the conversion process I'd suggest you to configure the program's settings according to your needs. From the Settings panel you can choose the preferred encoding type (Adobe Standard, ANSI, TeX Base, etc.), enable Windows options if necessary (when converting Mac fonts to Windows compatible formats), and so on.

The application takes a very small amount of time to convert the selected fonts. FontXChange automatically creates a folder where you can find the resulted font.

To me, FontXChange proves to be a reliable solution for converting fonts. It's very simple to configure and doesn't slow down my Mac while converting fonts. Even though it might seem a bit pricey for a font converter, I still think it's definitely worth buying it for your Mac.
