Flume is an Instagram desktop client developed for Mac. With its help, you can easily keep track of the latest posts shared by your Instagram friends, preview uploaded videos, comment your favorite photos, and so much more.
The application comes with a nicely-designed interface, can easily be accessed with just a few clicks or by hitting a certain combination of shortcut keys, and provides you with various settings for customizing its appearance according to your needs.
The first thing you need to do is to enter your Instagram account credentials. Afterwards, you can start checking the latest Instagram posts, like or comment pictures and videos that were uploaded by other users, etc. You can also use this utility to search other people profile pages, unfollow users, and so much more.
Unfortunately, in my testing, the app performed poorly. It occasionally ran slow, especially when logging into my account or switching from one screen to another.
This program isn't an official Instagram client. So, even though it comes as a quick and simple solution for managing your Instagram account, I don't think it's worth installing it on your Mac mostly because it violates the Instagram license agreement and you could end up losing your account data.
