Caret is a simple text editor for Mac OS X users based on Markdown. Markdown is a set of rules for expressing things like bold, italic, links, titles and quotes with basic characters like "*", "_", and ">". The program features: code highlighting for fenced code blocks, auto-completion of repetitive formatting tasks, context commands, and more.
