Another good aspect about this program is that it preserves original layout of the input files when using the integrated Ebook converter.

Cutting a long story short, Calibre proves to be a reliable solution when it comes to managing eBook files on your Mac. The application is available in many languages, doesn't require any advanced eBook management skills, and comes without a price tag. Hence, I can't find any reason why you shouldn't give this program a try.
