Blitzkrieg is a World War 2 real-time strategy game. In it, you can choose whether you want to play as the Allies or the German forces and battle in several locations around Europe.
There are tutorial missions that explain the game quite thoroughly. For example, the first one explains how to move units and how to save and load the game. It took me a little over 5 minutes to complete that one. After that, I jumped right into the campaign mode, where I already had quite a few different units to play with, and enemies all around me.
This is just my personal opinion, and it probably doesn't hold true for everyone, but I was having a hard time seeing enemy infantry units on the few missions that I played. Also, it felt like tanks and other units took too long to engage enemies, even when aggressive movement was enabled.
I had the game crash on me only once, but there are complaints of crashes, so make sure to save your games regularly.
Pros
- Lots of units
- Nicely-sized maps
Cons
- Some units seem slow to engage other units
