If you ever needed an alarm clock that can remind you of anything you should do, you've found it here.

Aurora is an advanced digital alarm system for your Mac computer. It is so advanced that it can wake your computer up in order to awaken you. Just follow three simple rules and it will never fail.

When you run it, it shows you the rules that you are advised to follow(They can be seen on one of the screenshots for this review). When you close that welcome message with three rules, you can begin setting your alarm times. Like in any modern alarm clock, you can set up unlimited number of alarms and modify an alarm to alert you when you need it by setting up recurring or one-time events.

Playback tab of the program shows you what's currently playing in iTunes or Aurora itself. You can control the volume, skip, or snooze for a couple more minutes.

The second half of this program comes in the third tab. Fall Asleep allows you to fall asleep listening to music or watching some TV on your Mac. On the right side you can set the count down timer to put your Mac to sleep regardless of what's happening on your desktop. On the left side there are options, completion of which will put your computer to sleep. Just make sure you do not use hour or two long tracks as you may end up listening the music the entire night and never wake up. Be careful of your tracks played.

This is not a bad program to have in your vault. It will wake your computer up to make sure you wake up or be alert. It is also nice that the program can put computer in its sleeping mode, but at the same time I am upset that there are only three predefined options and no way to make your own rules. On the other hand, you got a timer, so it is a compromise. Do not forget about the three rules, they are pivotal for your computer to wake you up.
