Backing up the data within your Mac will always be a smart idea, especially if you wish to prevent losing your work files.

Arq is a program that helps you complete this task with just a few clicks.
This application allows you to back up your Mac data to multiple Cloud service accounts, doesn't slow down the performance of your system while saving the copies of your files, and features easy-to-configure settings. Furthermore, it allows you to restore data from previous backup tasks with just a few clicks, directly from its main window.

The program also comes with a small panel that sits on your Menu Bar and from where you can pause and resume backups, access log files, and quickly reveal the main screen of the app.

Another important advantage is the fact that Arq keeps multiple versions of your files. So, if an important document gets infected, you can restore one of its old versions.

My only problem with this application is that it doesn't provide you with the option to schedule backup tasks.

Other than that, nothing bad can be said about this program. It's easy-to-use, works flawlessly, and provides you with many useful features.
