Arq is a program that comes in handy to people who have multiple Cloud accounts and wish to easily get access to the data they back up. The application comes with a straightforward interface and easy-to-configure backup and restore settings, so you can easily handle it on your Mac.
The first thing you need to do after launching the utility on your Mac is to select the data backup and restore settings according to your needs. You will need to enter the credentials of your Cloud account (Amazon Cloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.). The program will automatically save these details, so you don't need to retype them when you launch the app again.
A very important advantage is the fact that the application gives you access to every version of the uploaded files. This feature might prove to be of good use if a file you backed up using Arq got infected and wish to easily get access to an old version of the document.
In my testing, everything worked great. Unlike Mac's Time Machine app, this program didn't slow down the performance of my system while backing up or restoring data. Furthermore, it was very simple to configure and immediately completed any given task. The one feature I'd add to this app would be an option to schedule syncs.
Still, Arq proves to be a reliable solution for backing up and restoring data on your Mac using Cloud services.
It can recover data from iTunes backup of all iDevices--iPhone, iPad and iPod.
Recover lost, deleted or formatted data from internal and external drive on Mac.
