Apptivate 2.1

Apptivate is a user-friendly yet effective tool for Mac users who wish to save valuable time on busy work days.

This application helps you access files and folders or launch programs quickly and easily, either by typing certain key combinations (using hotkeys) or by using its menu entries (the Menu Bar).

You can modify the utility settings and customize the items list by accessing its icon from the Menu Bar. There you can select the apps, files, folders, and scripts you require for easy access and enter the shortcut keys for each loaded item.

An important advantage of Apptivate is the fact that it offers you an option that, if enabled, allows you to overwrite system shortcuts.

This new release provides you with numerous new features: you can now run Ruby, Python and shell scripts, resize the main menu window, click on an item icon to launch, open or execute it, etc.

To summarize, Apptivate proves to be a smart addition to my collection of programs as it helps effortlessly open or execute apps, files, and folders. The application is very simple to handle, offers easy-to-set options, and uses a small amount of CPU resources. In addition, you don't have to pay to use it.
