What's new

v2.2 [Dec 28, 2016]
- Added support for OS X Dark Mode.
- Fixed the issue that caused the menubar icon to stay highlighted indefinitely.
- Fixed a problem that could cause Apptivate to crash after removing a hotkey.
- Fixed an issue that would prevent you from using the same hotkey multiple times in the same sequence.
- Modernized the codebase. This means that Apptivate will continue to work when Apple removes support for Garbage Collection in a future version of OS X (or macOS), and that it's easier for me to update and improve Apptivate.
- Codesigned Apptivate using my Developer ID. This means you'll no longer be presented with the frustrating "Apptivate can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." alert when opening Apptivate the first time.

v2.1 [Aug 2, 2013]
- It's now possible to resize the window (hold Shift while resizing to freely resize the window).
- You can click on an item's icon to launch/open/execute it.
- Added support for executing Ruby, Python and shell scripts. Any output from the script will be shown in a notification.
- A "Suggestions" window can now be displayed.
- Apptivate's window is no longer displayed when launching Apptivate (except for on first launch).
- The preferences window has been improved.
- Made the list items 33% smaller.
- Hovering an item now displays the full path.
- Fixes a bug that would cause Apptivate's window to be displayed when switching spaces.

v2.0 [Feb 8, 2011]
* "Re-launching" Apptivate while it's running opens the main window (or the preferences window if the menubar icon is hidden).
* Added a preference to allow overwriting system shortcuts. This should fix the problem some people have been having with F14 and F15.
* It's no longer necessary to hover an item to see the hotkeys while holding the Option key.
* Pressing Enter when in the hotkeys view of an item brings you back to the list.
* Items are saved more often.
* It's now possible to order the items by name.
* Fixed a bug that would cause keys not to work. This might fix the problem with the i-key not working; if it doesn't, please contact us.
