Wondershare Filmora is a video editing utility designed for Mac users who wish to transform their homemade movies into stunning works of art.

With its help, you can merge multiple videos into a single film, apply visual effects to your movies, extract segments from your clips, and so much more.

The Welcome screen will let you choose which type of task you wish to complete. You can create or open recent video project, cut clips or record webcam activity.

The video editing tool works with a wide variety clip formats, gives you access to many audio samples which can be set as background music, and provides you with multiple transition effects. You can use the timeline panel from the bottom side of the screen to arrange your videos in the order you like. Once you finish working on your video project, you can export it to your local folders or publish it online on various websites.

The video cutter and webcam recording tool come with easy-to-configure settings and offer you the quality output files you need within moments. However, the clip cutter supports a limited amount of input formats. For instance, it doesn't offer you support for formats like MKV or SWF.

Another thing that bothers me about this app is that it occasionally runs slow, especially when importing videos.

Still, Wondershare Filmora offers you many useful features which come in handy to both beginner and professional video editors. I'd say it's worth giving it a try and then decide if you want to acquire its full version.
