Vadle is intented for downloading media from a long list of Internet sites, which includes Vimeo and Facebook. The app is quite unobtrusive and runs from the Menu Bar. Moreover, it works in two modes: Video and Audio. All you need to do is provide the desired file’s URL and the tool will do the rest for you.

Regrettably, the app does not come with a built-in searcher. However, it compensates this lack with other features. For instance, there is a Safari extension that lets you send a download link directly to Vadle. Likewise, it is possible to subscribe to RSS feeds, which allows fetching contents automatically.

You can configure the tool to meet your preferences. In this regard, it is possible to choose a download destination directory, which also includes the possibility of sending the files to iTunes. Likewise, it is possible to automatically convert any audio format to MP3. Similarly, you can choose the desired download quality, supporting up to 4K. Finally, it is allowed to limit the number of simultaneous downloads as well as the rate.

To conclude, Vadle is an excellent way to download the desired audio and video contents so that they become available offline. The product is available in two licenses: Free and Premium. Actually, its free version works as a trial version with limited features because there are multiple things you will not able to do unless you pay for a license, including HD downloads, simultaneous downloads, high speed downloads, unlimited RSS subscriptions, iTunes connection and MP3 compression.
