Creative Cloud Desktop App is intended to help you use Adobe Creative Cloud services more efficiently. It lets you subscribe to any of multiple Adobe products. The application has an easy-to-use interface that helps you manage all Adobe products from one place. In this respect, it is possible to filter them according to their type (Desktop, Mobile and Web). Likewise, it is easier to find the desired Adobe apps by looking for them in one of the categories: Photography, Design & Layout, Video & Motion, Illustration, UI & UX, Acrobat & PDF, 3D & AR, Social Media and Beta Apps.

The application starts along with your system and runs unobtrusively from the Menu Bar. Once in a while, it may send notifications about the products, mostly announcing available updates; however, you can turn some types of notifications off if you like. I know most users prefer to decide if they want the latest version of a product by themselves; still, there is a possibility that some would like to proceed to update automatically, which is unluckily impossible. Fortunately, the app has its built-in download manager. In this regard, you are allowed to choose the best hours for your transfers to take place as well as to set limits to transfer speeds.

In addition to accessing and updating Adobe applications, it is also possible to find design assets and images on Adobe Stock. Likewise, it is great for adding fonts from Typekit. Good news is that the Creative Cloud Desktop App lets you share your work with other users. In this respect, its seamless integration with Behance lets you upload your creations and discover those of others.

All in all, most of the value of Creative Cloud Desktop App is related to the valuable pack of products it gives you access to, which have the advantage of being impeccably integrated with one another.

Creative Cloud Desktop App is actually free. Yet, there are in-app purchases related to the products or plans you choose. Many users find it quite annoying that Adobe products are no longer available for a flat fee, while others believe the monthly payments actually help them save some bucks. In this regard, I advise you to consider various alternatives before deciding how much to invest.
