Url Extractor 3.4

URL Extractor is a utility that can scan websites and other sources to find URL links. The application can search for links in files, files in folders, the web, or search engines.

You can change the source that you want to scan using one of the four buttons at the top of the screen.

The file tab lets you load a file by either clicking on the "Select" button or by dragging and dropping. Then you can choose what type of URL you want to extract. The Files in Folder tab is very similar to the Files tab, with the exception that you add a folder instead of a file, and you can filter files by extension as well. The last two tabs: Web and Search Engine carry out searches on the Internet. Web lets you load several websites and Search Engine lets you choose one of Google's pages for your searches. Google is the only available search engine. In this last extraction mode, you need to input one or many keyboards that the application will use to start a search and start following links to extract URLs.

In all of the modes, you are given the choice to select what type of URL you want to extract. The default one is e-mail, which is what most people will probably use this application for. But you can also select a web page, FTP server, news, telnet, etc.

In conclusion, this application gives you a lot of freedom to customize the scanning process, and it returns excellent results. There is even a feature to disable a "drawer", which is a panel with information that is displayed during the scan, to speed up the process.
