Open Unity and build something you can test in minutes. Start a project with the template that matches your target device, pick a render pipeline (URP for mobile, HDRP for high-end), then drop assets into the Scene view to block out a level. Use ProBuilder to shape play spaces fast, add colliders and physics, wire up input with the Input System, and hit Play to iterate instantly. Choose C# scripts for full control or Visual Scripting for quick logic. Tighten the feel with Cinemachine cameras and the Animator, prototype interactions with Timeline, and track performance in the Profiler as you refine gameplay loops.

For content creation, treat the Editor like a production stage. Set up a materials library, build shaders in Shader Graph, and layer effects with VFX Graph. Organize scenes with Prefabs so changes roll out everywhere. Use Addressables to stream or swap content without rebuilding the whole app. Record clips or trailers with Recorder, add audio in Audio Mixer groups, and preview UI with UI Toolkit. When ready to test, run the Device Simulator, deploy to a phone, or push a WebGL build for quick stakeholder feedback.

If you’re visualizing spaces or products, bring in CAD/BIM or DCC assets via FBX or a data prep tool, then clean and optimize in the Editor. Light rooms with baked GI, Reflection Probes, and Light Probes; switch to HDRP to add physically based lighting, area lights, and ray tracing when needed. Create guided tours using Cinemachine dolly tracks, hook up buttons and toggles in UI to change materials or configurations, and publish interactive walkthroughs for desktop, touchscreen kiosks, VR headsets, or AR scenes through AR Foundation.

When it’s time to ship and operate, automate builds in the cloud and keep teams in sync with version control. Add Analytics to understand behavior, Remote Config to adjust balance or features without patches, and IAP/Ads where relevant. For real-time features, use Netcode for GameObjects with Relay and Lobby to host sessions without running your own servers. Monitor stability with Cloud Diagnostics, profile frames on target hardware, and roll out content updates via Addressables. This workflow lets you move from concept to live experience with measurable, data-informed iteration at every step.
