The Clock is intended to facilitate communication and collaboration across time zones. Thus, by showing the current time in different cities, it helps you avoid time conflicts with your friends, family members, partners or colleagues.
If there is one word to describe this app, that would be “beautiful”, because it certainly excels because of its design and usability. The Clock is also very unobtrusive as you can decide how you want it to be shown. In this respect, it may be attached or detached to the Menu Bar, or shown in Dock mode. In terms of appearance, if you are not pleased with the default dark theme, you can simply pick any other. Likewise, it is extremely responsive and more elements gradually appear as you enlarge its window, up to the extent that you can even view a large world map.
The application supports using multiple time-date formats. For instance, you can use an analog 24-hour clock if you desire. Another very convenient feature is that you can set up to eight types of complications, including sunrise and sunset times, working days, business hours and days off. This comes in very handy when planning online meetings or conferences that suit all the participants.
It is good that The Clock integrates with other applications, such as Calendar, Mail, Messages, Notes and Reminders. In the case of Calendar, it can show upcoming events, which you can filter according to the categories you normally use. However, I just wished I could do a little more, for instance, creating a new Calendar event right from The Clock. more
