Super DVD Creator is intended for creating and burning your own DVD discs. In this respect, the tool automatically takes care of any necessary transcoding so that the final product is perfectly compatible with a DVD player. Luckily, it supports a wide range of input formats, including 3GP, AVI, MP4, TS, M2TS, MTS, ASF, SWF, FLV, MKV, MPG, MPEG, and MOV.

The application’s interface resembles those of many media converters, so you are unlikely to have any problems, provided you have some experience with this type of tools. Still, even if you do not, you can read straightforward instructions directly from its window.

The workflow is simple. You should start by picking a DVD type and importing the desired clips, and, as you do that, there is a gauge to tell you how much space is still left on the disc. As you can see from the list, DVD+-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-5(4.7G) and DVD-9(8.5GB) discs are supported. Likewise, you do not need to burn your discs straight away as it is also allowed to save the contents to an ISO image file or a DVD folder. Unfortunately, creating Blu-ray discs is not supported.

Good news is that the tool comes with various basic editing features. For instance, you can create multi-language DVDs by importing various audio tracks and subtitles. Likewise, you can keep just a segment of the original clip or crop just a part of the frame. Moreover, it is possible to adjust picture parameters, including brightness, saturation, contrast and hue. Still, it is a shame that, unlike other converters, Super DVD Creator does not come with an enhanced feature. Finally, adding watermarks is also allowed.

One of the best parts of using a tool of this kind is the possibility to create custom menus. Fortunately, you do not have to start from scratch as there are various eye-catching templates. Similarly, you can use some prebuilt objects, like frames and buttons. What is more, you can even include an opening movie as well as use custom background pictures and music.

All in all, Super DVD Creator lets you create decent DVD discs even if you do not have much experience. Since there are so many similar tools out there, I do recommend exploring some other alternatives before spending any money. By the way, the product can be bought from the Mac App Store.
