Spin Music is a radio music station app for your Mac. It is a free app that is very basic and simple. It runs from your Mac's MenuBar. Although there is a Dock icon, you can remove it without affecting the app at all. If you click the Spin Music icon on your Menubar, you will find all of the apps options. The first thing you will notice is that there aren't any player controls for volume or playback. All you can do is play or pause. There is a sub-menu that takes you to the available radio channels. Spin Music seems to only show channels from one radio station.
In my testing, everything worked well for a while. The songs played well enough and changing channels was quick enough for a free app. The quality of the music was as good as I expected it to be. I didn't have very high expectations, though. I only ran into a problem after 10 minutes of playing music. When I attempted to change the channel, the app froze. When I tried to click the Menubar icon, I saw the spinning wheel icon and the menu wouldn't come down. Since the app isn't running in the Dock, I couldn't use Force Quit to quit it. So I had to restart my Mac.
