Spin Music is a simple to use program that lets you listen to online radio channels. This small menu bar app gives you access to dozens of radio channels with different music genres and from different eras. It also offers you plenty of interesting or useful information regarding each played tune.
You can control this streaming media tool from the menu bar, choose the type of music you wish to listen to, adjust the sound volume (if using the Pro version), and upgrade to Pro version if necessary.
Once you select the type of music you like, the application connects to a streaming radio channel and displays details about the song being played (name of the artist, song and a link to iTunes store). Unfortunately, you might need to wait a while for the program to change channels and play the music type you wish to listen.
More to that, there's no option available to save the radio stations you like to a favorites list; this feature is available only when you upgrade the application to the Pro version. The program doesn't display the available radio stations by name and it might be difficult to find the one you like only by looking for it after its genre.
Briefly, there's a lot to consider if you wish to acquire this application as it works slow when changing channels and doesn't let you mark your favorite radio stations. My belief is that you can find more advanced apps on the Internet and in the same price range.
