Reminisce - Journal is primarily intended to keep a sort of diary to help you remember the most important events in your life. Not only that, it can also be used to store thoughts and ideas. Fortunately, the application supports importing multimedia files, so you can enrich your memories with photos, audio and even maps. It is also very convenient that it includes a calendar, which allows you to create reminders and plan events.
The application has a minimalist interface, characterized by the use of tabs to compartmentalize information. Thus, there is a tab to create a new entry. The List tab allows you to browse through all previously created entries. In this sense, it is very convenient that you can use tags to facilitate the search. The Calendar tab is where you can view events by date and add reminders. Similarly, the Maps tab shows you the location where the saved events took place. You can also assign values corresponding to Emotion and Ranking.
From the security point of view, it is good that you can use a password to protect your data. In this sense it is convenient that the application does not store any information on the develper's servers. Instead, the data is stored locally on the device or in the personal cloud. However, this may cause problems with synchronization between devices. It is unfortunate that some users report ocassional data loss.
Overall, Reminisce - Journal is a simple application that many users may find useful when it comes to saving their memories. Unfortunately although the product is distributed seemingly for free, the reality is that it only allows you to create three entries. To overcome these limitations, you will have to pay for the Pro version, which is available as an In-App Purchase.
