Tenorshare 4DDiG is an application designed to help you recover lost data from various storage locations. It scans selected drives for lost files, lets you preview the identified items, and offers to retrieve the selections. Therefore, you will be able to recover files you accidentally deleted and removed from Trash, as well as information that you lost because of a system crash, disk formatting, partition loss, disk damage, virus attack, or other causes.

The application is very easy to use. You just need to select the desired location, which may be either internal or external, and enable the scan process. By default, the tool performs a quick scan of the determined drive. If the results aren't satisfactory, you can ask for an in-depth search, which lasts longer, but the amount of identified items is significantly higher. With the Deep scan procedure, the results are conveniently organized by file type and grouped by extension. Searching by filename is also supported. You have the ability to preview files before actually recover them, so you know from the start if they are worth saving. However, the trial version doesn't preview the files properly and doesn't let you recover anything. Filtering the results isn't possible either, though it would have saved a lot of time and would have delivered more accurate results.

To conclude, Tenorshare 4DDiG is a data recovery tool that offers to retrieve files you consider lost forever. However, it is everyone's choice if you risk paying a rather large amount of money for an application that doesn't let you recover at least one item using the trial version.
