Polyhedral is a dice-rolling tool for role-playing games (RPGs). The Z6 dice type is a unique way to resolve skill checks in RPG settings. It has six sides representing the platonic solids and one wild side, which represents the dice type of the skill your character is using. To make a skill check, you roll the Z6, and then roll the dice type indicated by the wild side if it comes up, otherwise roll the dice type shown on the Z6. The result is the value of your check.

Polyhedral provides dice to play RPGs. The Z6 is a special die type and can be used for RPG resolution in a novel way. It has a side for each of the platonic solids and one side that is wild. The wild side represents the die type of whatever skill your character is using. The procedure for making a skill check is: (1) roll a Z6 (2) roll the die type for your skill when the wild side comes up, otherwise roll the die type on the Z6. The result is the value of your check.
