Phone to Mac 4.2

Pod to Mac is an app that can help you backup your iOS device. It lets you copy your iPhone's (or any other iOS device's) songs, movies, videos, photos, call history, and address book back to your Mac.

In the case of songs and movies, you can also have them added to iTunes automatically. This is a nice feature for when your Mac crashes and you want to restore your music using your iPhone as a backup device.

The app's main window shows your Device's libraries, including music, movies, tv shows, audiobooks, ringtones and podcasts. You can play any item from the application or copy it back to your Mac's hard drive.

There are three buttons at the top of the window, next to the volume controls. The first takes you to Audio and Video, the second, to your photos, and the third, to information like Backups, Address Book, Calendar, Call History, etc.

In my testing, I was able to get every little feature to work except for the backup of photos. The photos that I had on my iPhone simply didn't show up at all. I was able to download and play music and videos, check my address book and call history, but no photos.

All in all, this tool works great (except for the photos in my case), it has a great design. And it is priced evenly with other competing apps.
