PhotoSweeper is a powerful photo browser which allows the Mac users to find similar or identical pictures. It comes with a modern look and an easy-to-use menu that will grant users quick access to all of the features. The main window features some settings for photos, arranged into two categories: file settings and compare settings. The file settings tab allows the users to set up the supported photo formats; the compare settings tab provides several options for the compare process, details and matching level. This piece of software provides support for importing photos from libraries for well known programs like iPhoto, Aperture and Lightroom. It also provides basic photo browsing functions like zoom and quick-look (will make the photo stretch in a translucent window with the full screen option). The preference window allows the users to input gloss effects on thumbnails, decide if they want to compare only same formats photos and some auto-put rules. The overall functionality of the tool is good and it really finds similar or identical pictures based on the compare method used.
All taken into consideration, it is safe to say that PhotoSweeper is an easy-to-use tool with great functionality.
