PhotoScape X is a simple yet capable program for Mac that provides you with numerous ways to alter your favorite pictures.

You can also work with this application when you want to browse your image collection, create GIFs from photos, design picture collages, and much more.

This feature-rich utility works with a wide variety of image formats, offers you plenty of output configurations for each built-in tool, and provides you with high-quality results. Another good aspect about this program is that it brings a very intuitive interface, so you can get the output you require with just a few clicks even if you don't have much experience in manipulating pictures.

In my testing, everything worked as expected. My favorite integrated utility was "Batch" mostly because it allows you to select a collection of pictures and apply various visual effects and output configurations. Plus, all results were high-quality.

If you wish to have access to even more features (additional collage templates, Clone Stamp Brush, etc.), you can always upgrade the app to its Pro version directly from PhotoScape X's interface.

After testing this app and seeing how much it has to offer, PhotoScape X has reached my top 3 image managers. However, you can find cheaper solutions for handling photos on your Mac. So it's up to you to decide whether it's worth installing this app or not.
