MenuTimer is simple program for your Mac that helps you keep track of the amount of time you spend completing tasks.
Once you launch the application, you can see its icon on your Menu Bar. From there, you can start, pause, resume, and stop the stopwatch, check previous logs, and configure the app's settings according to your needs.
The program also lets you copy timing info to Clipboard, change the font for the stopwatch and countdown utilities, and enable the millisecond precision feature if necessary.
The only aspect I don't like about MenuTimer is that you can't configure the countdown tool to notify your after X minutes or hours. You can only set the date and time when the countdown is off.
As for the rest, the application offers a simple solution for monitoring the amount of time you spend on finishing tasks. MenuTimer is very simple to handle, uses a small amount of CPU resources, and doesn't come with a price tag.
Pros
- Intuitive interface
- Keeps track of all previous sessions
- Comes with a countdown tool
- Brings the millisecond precision option
Cons
- Unable to countdown X minutes (you can only select the exact date)
