MacPool - a game of billiards for Mac users. You get a nice looking table with a bunch of colored balls.
The design of the game looks pretty awesome. The game does not have a conventional window, but rather the pool table is the window you are supposed to play in. It has all the necessary action buttons, such as close, settings, and about. All the balls are colored, but not clearly defined (stripes or solids). The physics of the game were odd to me, but I am sure you just need to get used to the program.
The trial period only let me make 12 shots. It wasn't nearly enough to make me want this game. 10 dollars is not a lot of money, but I feel like 10 dollars is twice what this particular program should cost. I do believe the developer should have bundled this program with some additional trial to make this 10 bucks purchase worth it.
The bottom line, if you like playing the pool, I think you would enjoy this game.
Pros
- None
Cons
- Super short trial period
A nice game to train your pool skills.
A nice electronic variant of the game. It helps me when I want to play the billiard, but can't find company to go to the club. I enjoyed it.
