MacClean is packed with a wide variety of system optimization and cleaning tools. The program might come in handy if you want to immediately reclaim disk space on your Mac, get rid of unneeded large or duplicated files, uninstall utilities, and so much more.
You don't need much computer experience in order to use any of its built-in tools. Simply let the program look for the information you need, decide which of the found data needs to be removed from your Mac, and the utility will immediately get the job done, without slowing down the performance of your system.
In my testing, I checked all of the integrated tools. They all completed their scanning process within moments and offered me accurate results. Unfortunately, since I used the trial version of the program, I wasn't able to remove any files from my Mac.
Another disadvantage is the fact that you don't have access to options to pause and resume the scanning processes. You can only stop and start the scanning processes. Also, you cannot access any other tools while one of the integrated utilities is scanning your system.
In conclusion, the program gives you access to many useful advantages and built-in tools, at a very reasonable price. It's worth giving it a try as long as the aforementioned aspects don't mean that much to you.
