MacClean is a utility created for users who wish to easily optimize the performance of their systems. With its help, you can find and remove junk data from your Mac, uninstall unneeded applications, delete browser history, reclaim disk space, and so much more.
All of the integrated tools or scanning modes can be found on the left side of the main window. I tested the System Junk scan mode and the app uninstaller utility. They both were easy-to-configure and completed their scanning processes within moments. So, you don't need much computer experience in order to work with this program on your Mac and improve its performance.
Sadly, the application comes with several disadvantages. For starters, it occasionally runs slow. Furthermore, you cannot access other integrated utilities or options while the program is scanning your system. Hence, you need to way for the app to complete the current task in order to start another. There are many Mac apps designed for optimizing the performance of your system that don't bring you these flaws.
Another thing that bothered me was that the trial version of the app didn't actually remove anything from my Mac. It can only scan for junk data, files related to the apps you try to uninstall, etc.
So, in my opinion, you can find better solutions for optimizing the performance of your system.
