KeyCue 8.3

KeyCue is an easy-to-use Mac utility that helps you remember every single shortcut key which controls an application from your computer.

This program comes in handy if you're working with multiple apps on your Mac and find it difficult to recall each and every one of the key combinations you use.

The application lives on your Menu Bar from where you can access its main screen and the Preferences panel. The main screen of the utility shows the available shortcut keys for the front-most application plus system default hotkeys. All you need to do in order to reveal the app's main window is to click the program's icon from your Menu Bar.

You can choose which information to be displayed on the main window of the app from the Preferences panel. Also, the program lets you opt for the preferred theme, adjust main screen's opacity level, etc.

I tested the application's abilities for multiple Mac tools (my default browser, Finder, and TextEdit). The utility immediately displayed the necessary shortcut keys and didn't slow down the performance of my Mac while working.

In addition, you can add your own shortcut keys for easily managing programs that are being installed on your computer. Simply go to Preferences -> Custom and select the proper hotkeys for the tasks you need.

In conclusion, KeyCue is an effective program that comes in handy to power-users who use shortcut keys often. It's feature-rich, simple to handle, and affordable.
