Invisor is a Mac program designed to provide you with detailed information regarding your media files.
You can choose between two profiles: General or Extended. The first mode gives you access to basic information regarding the imported files, such as format type, size, etc. The Extended profiles provide you with a lot of advanced details. In my testing, I imported an MKV file and the app offered me information like the encoded date, MD5 hash, overall bitrate, width and weight, frame count, and many others.
In addition, you can print the offered details or export them to a document within your local directories.
The current version of the program comes with many improvements and bug fixes and uses a smaller amount of CPU resources than its previous releases.
There's also a plugin for QuickLook available for download on the homepage of the developer. After you install it on your computer, you will be able to immediately find information regarding your media files directly from the Finder app (default file manager for Mac). You will find all the info you need about how to install the plugin on the homepage of the developer. Unfortunately, this add-on doesn't offer you support for many media formats. So, Invisor standalone tool is by far a smarter choice.
With that being said, Invisor proves to be a reliable solution when it comes to finding detailed info regarding your files. Plus, it's cheap.
