HexEdit is a small Mac application that, as its name clearly states, allows you to edit any file you might have stored on your Mac, regardless of its type or size. This tool can come in handy if you want to edit the binary data of computer files in a simple and fast manner.
Using the HexEdit is very easy. All you have to do after launching this application is simply to provide the path of the desired file and, once you have done that, you can easily start editing the values directly from the interface. Even though the name of this tool suggests that it can only handle hexadecimal values, it can successfully manipulate files in decimal and ASCII with no problems whatsoever.
