Flux is an advanced WYSIWYG web page editor for professional web developers, but the regular users may find this application interesting and useful too.
A couple of guys in UK got together to create ambitious projects, particularly, Flux is aimed to compete with Dreamweaver and like WYSIWYG editors. The guys are on the right path, but they will always be playing a catch up with Adobe's suite for Web Development. Personally, when configured correctly, nothing can beat Dreamweaver and its functionality. Flux, though advertised as "Dreamweaver killer" on the official website, is definitely not. Mac has cheaper and better alternatives to Flux, RapidWeaver, for example.
There are a couple of good things in Flux: highlighting of the code (any modern html editor should have), built-in ftp and sftp connection manager, advanced editing of CSS through inspector, limited support of Coda plugins, and its somewhat convenient minimalistic user interface. There are a lot of properties and options to choose from when creating web pages making your life easier, as you do not have to write a line of code.
Overall, if you are a professional web developer, you will find this program interesting. Flux is a but short of the functionality in like alternatives, however, the price is modest enough.
