Find Any File is, as its name says, an application that helps you find files within your drives. This program comes as an alternative to Mac's Spotlight tool, but with a more complete set of search filters, hence, you get access to more accurate results.
You can look for files by entering keywords related to their names, modification date, folder path, size, and many other. Once you finish selecting the proper search filters, click the Find button; in just a few moments, the app will offer you a detailed results list (if the files are within the selected folder).

Yep! It totally does the trick. Quick results, doesn't require search items to be in exact order like many other searches do; Total grand slam in the elusive 'osx simple search' category!
Fast, reliable for searching a volume, all mounted volumes, or just one folder. Unlike Spotlight it will search inside the system folder, but it does not search inside documents. I use it many times every single day and could not live without it. Author is responsive to help requests .... I can't recommend this app enough.
