File Viewer and Investigator 1.2

Free
A tool for learning detailed information about your files.

1.2.1 (See all)

This program was created for Mac users who wish to learn detailed information about the files within their local directories. File Viewer and Investigator features an intuitive interface, immediately provides you with the accurate file details you need, and uses minimum CPU resources while analyzing the imported data.

All you need to do is to click the "Select File" button from the main window of the app, choose the file you wish to analyze, and the program will do the rest. You will have access to three reports: Basic Information, Advanced Information, and Hex Header. They can be revealed by simply clicking over their names.

The application helps you learn various types of details about your files, such as creation date, format, size, MD5 hash value, Hex header info, etc.

An important advantage is the fact that you can copy the offered information to your clipboard. This features comes in handy if you need to paste the offered content in third-party apps like Web browsers or text editors. However, you cannot export or print the information.

In conclusion, File Viewer and Investigator is a helpful Mac program that provides you with details about your files. It's effective, simple to handle, and free. So, I don't see any harm in giving it a try if you're looking for an easy way to learn more about the files within your computer.
